Eyes: One of Azrael's eyes is completely covered in scar tissue and otherwise nonexistent. The other eye is dark, almost black.

Origin: Azrael was born near Ancient Greece.

Language: Azrael is a polyglot. He can speak English, German, Greek, Ancient Greek, Latin, Gaelic, and pretty much any European language out there.

Blood Type: What's that?

Height: Nearly seven feet tall

Weight/Body Structure/Physical Faults: Azrael is tall, broad shouldered and very well built. However, he is covered from head to toe in scars. He's missing his right eye, a chunk of his nose, a portion of his left ear, and the first joint of the middle and forefinger of his left hand. His face looks like it may have been melted. His skin is also deathly pale.

Race/Species: Azrael used to be a Middle Eastern man. Now he's a revenant, a dead human who was brought back for the purposes of a sorcerer then he was changed into something more than a revenant.

Parents/Elders/Guardians: Azrael was raised as a human by his parents who he doesn't really remember. He was raised as a revenant by a witch calling herself Urania.

Siblings: Azrael has no siblings and the other revenants died when Urania died.

Friends/Allies: Azrael has many allies and no friends. His allies are: Porfirio, Nemo (sort of), Jack Cain, Loki/Coyote, Cassandra Troy, Benny the Cat, Emery Clark, Coriander Puckett, the Brown siblings, Amanda Palmer, Mel, Magenta, The Alchemist, Tempus, Betty, and many more.

Enemies: Nemo and the Council

Beliefs/Religion: The Gods exist in this world and they're all bastards. Azrael has met them.

Career/Past Careers: Azrael used to be a servant to Urania. Now he's a servant of Porfirio and Nemo when they're in the mood.

Dreams/Life Goals: Azrael would like to be free of his immortality and able to die or able to live as a handsome, mortal man once again with one of his loves.

Hobbies: Brooding, reading, brooding, writing history books, brooding, watching girls, brooding...

Likes: Azrael likes the quiet. he likes to be alone with his thoughts. He likes innocence and sweet children. He likes darkness. He also likes the color black.

Loves: Azrael loves people who see through his monstrous visage to the kind man within. He loves being around people who don't judge his based on his looks.

Dislikes: Azrael dislikes sunshine, daisies, people who don't have a care in the world, small furry pets, and pretty much everything.

Loathes:  Azrael loathed the Council, Nemo, Porfirio and anyone who actively tries to make his life worse than it is.

Fears: Azrael is afraid he'll be stuck in the life he's been forced to live forever. He's afraid he'll be the monster he is even when all the universes end and he'll be stuck floating in the void in his accursed state.

Strengths: Azrael is physically very strong and he's been tortured enough that most forms of torture don't work on him. He's skilled with most magic.

Weakness: Azrael is a very negative being. He's been through hell and he's quick to let anyone else know it. He's got the social skills of someone who's been through hell too. He just doesn't understand most people and why they're able to be so cheerful.

Good Qualities: Azrael does care about innocent people. He is a good person at heart. He's just had a lot of terrible things happen to him. He learns from his mistakes as well.

Bad Habits: Azrael bites his nails and his fingers until they bleed. He also has a habit of falling in love and stalking young women who seem to be the perfect balance between innocent, spunky, and intelligent until they die in some horrible way because he's in their lives.

Turn Ons: Azrael likes them to be you waifish young women who have the perfect combination of innocence, spunk, and intelligence.

Turn Offs: Azrael really hates anything that's not young, innocent, spunky, and intelligent. He's also very much turned off by girls who aren't waif-like.

Normal Talents: Physically, Azrael is very, very strong. He's also very intelligent and a polyglot.

Supernatural Powers & Abilities: Azrael has superhuman healing. He also is skilled in ritual magic and some thaumaturgy though it take him a lot to be able to lift an object with telekinesis or light a candle on fire. He also has the ability to drain the life force from others by thrusting his hand into their heart chakra.

Temperament: In a word, Azrael is dour. He's been through so much sorrow in his life that he sees life as pain and suffering. He sees no escape either. He doesn't remember being human though he may have had a big family. All he knows of his former life is that it's over and now he has to live as a monster. Don't expect him to enjoy it. He's sarcastic, caustic, and pretty much like a cross between Severus Snape and Frankenstein's monster with murderous urges and all.

Background: Azrael lived a full and happy life as a human named Iason. He died relatively young in a battle and that would've been the end of it if not for Urania. She was a witch who brought Azrael back as a revenant and a servant because his body was whole and handsome. He quickly became her favorite revenant who she doted on and constantly gave new powers too. However, Urania was in a war with another magic-user named Gaia, who used magic to make herself eternally young and beautiful while Urania used her magic to make servants and help people. Eventually, Gaia killed Urania and Azrael was the only revenant that survived because of the gifts Urania had given him included the gift of independence. Azrael proceeded to go on a campaign of vengeance on Gaia.

This did not end well.

After he had killed many of Gaia's favorite humans and tortured others who were dear to Gaia, the woman captured him and, upon learning why he had set himself against her, tortured him and turned him into a monster. Azrael eventually broke free, but by then the damage was done and he was a seven-foot-tall freak who was missing an eye. He healed, but he didn't get to heal long before Nemo found him.

Nemo was fascinated by Azrael and proceeded to experiment upon his body, his magic, and everything about him because she liked him. This also didn't end well because Azrael became virtually unable to die, even by his own hand because it amused Nemo to make sure he stuck around.

Throughout the centuries, Azrael has found girls that were the beauty to his beast, but they usually were killed by a very jealous Nemo or the circumstances of their own horrid lives. Azrael wishes he no longer cared, but he keeps finding girls that he likes, like Sylvia Brown.
