Beliefs/Religion: Jack knows that godlike beings exist, but he doesn't believe in an all-encompassing creator because knowing that godlike beings exist and they're all bastards makes the idea of a benevolent creator ruling over them and not keeping them in check rather a moot point. If there is an all-encompassing creator, he's a bastard too.

Dreams/Life Goals: Jack's one goal in life is to enable Ben to live a full, happy and productive life and then die in anonymity. He would like to be human again and live his own life, but he'll settle for Ben getting a long, happy life.

Loathes: Jack hates the Council and any particular body of power that would limit the practice and knowledge of magic. He also hates people who are uncouth, rude, crude, and generally socially unacceptable. The people Jack hates most are those who are willfully illiterate and ignorant.

Fears: Jack is terrified his brother will find out he's alive and destroy them both in his quest to "right the wrongs of the past".

Strengths: Jack is highly intelligent, physically fit, and very skilled at magic. He's talented in playing musical instruments. He's also very refined and has a refined taste.

Weakness: Jack is completely  morally bankrupt. He cares for nothing and nobody other than himself and his brother mostly because caring for anyone else would lead to him having the acknowledge the kind of monster he really is. He also has to sacrifice a person with many years left in their life every full moon or else both he and his brother, Ben, die.

Good Qualities: Jack best quality is his love and protection of his brother. He's also pretty intelligent and smooth.

Bad Habits: Jack is a very clean person, commonly dusting off his clothes or examining his nails for dirt when nervous and trying to look nonchallant.

Turn Ons: Jack would really like to meet a woman who loves books, music, and magic as much as he does. A woman or man who doesn't mind that he's pretty committed to his brother's life and well being without his brother's knowledge.

Turn Offs:  Jack is not attracted to anyone who is stupid, willfully ignorant, unclean, or unattractive in some way physically.

Normal Talents:  Jack is highly intelligent with a good working knowledge of Latin and romance languages. He's also a pretty talented cellist who likes to liken playing a cello to playing other people. He's also shamelessly manipulative with a good ability to sense what drives a person.

Supernatural Powers & Abilities: Jack is, for all intents and purposes, immortal until his brother, Ben Kramer, dies of old age. He doesn't age and he doesn't take physical damage so long as he makes the appropriate sacrifice every full moon. He's also highly skilled in ritual magic as well as some regular thaumaturgy such as telekinesis and pyrokinesis.

Temperament: Jack is smooth, cool, and confident. He is detached from pretty much anything that goes on around him. He can be difficult to deal with when he wants to be, but he usually does his utmost to be a gentleman. He has very little patience however, especially for stupidity which causes him to become rather short-tempered. Jack can understand people, but he has little empathy for them instead choosing to take them apart rather than help or do anything with them that might be good.

Background: Jack was born to Benjamin and Anna Kramer on February 3, 1959. Just a few years later, his brother Benjamin was born and shortly after that Anna died of ovarian cancer. Jack and his brother were raised by Oliver and trained in the art of magic while also attending school. Benjamin excelled in magic while Jack excelled in school and in the theory part of magic. They grew up and both boys joined the Council of Magic as agents to protect the public from those that would abuse magic for personal gain.
The Benjamin was wounded by a dark wizard and it as draining his life. Jack refused to lose his brother and turned to magic to save Benjamin. In the end, the only cure as a forbidden spell that would enable Ben to live so long as others died in his place. Jack didn't want to lose his brother, so he enacted the spell. However, Benjamin wasn't a willing participant of the spell causing it to backfire most spectacularly, turning Jack into a vampire-like being who needs to feed on the lives of those who he sacrifices every month to keep Ben alive.
Ben was furious with his brother, telling Jack he had sold his soul. Despite the fact that he would die, Benjamin decided the only right thing to do was to kill Jack to prevent him from hurting others. Jack faked his death to keep Benjamin from killing him and ending both their lives. He turned to Porfirio who set Jack up at Ripper's Books, a magical bookstore where magical books are kept in trust for those meant for them as well as hidden from the Council's purges.

Once Jack discovered the depth of magic possible without the Council's control, he turned from them completely instead focusing his life on protecting magical tomes and his brother.
