Background: Coyote was born a shape-shifter in a tribe in a universe very different from our own. He was raised in a community-atmosphere with his four siblings, twelve cousins, twenty-two second cousins, and other assorted relatives of varying ages. Then, at the age of sixteen, his whole village was used in a sacrifice by a shape-shifting wizard calling himself Loki to give himself immortality. Coyote witnessed the event from afar and swore revenge which he got... with relish. However, his journey to vengeance changed him when he came across a crystal that could cause mischief when thrown at enemies. At one point, Coyote was struck in the chest with the object, destroying the object itself and changing Coyote forever. He eventually learned magic and used it to destroy the gods of his universe in his quest to be immortal. Destroying the gods, destroyed his universe, but he didn't care. He just went to a new one. Of course, once in our universe, Coyote was enslaved to the shop known as Chaos Theory by Porfirio. Coyote thought it would protect him from the Council, but it was used to trap him and keep him from causing more trouble. Something that vexes Coyote to this day.
