Friends/Allies: The Mother, Porfirio, Nemo, Jack Cain, Loki/Coyote, Azrael, Cassandra Troy, Emery Clark, Benny the Cat, Coriander Puckett, Amanda Palmer, Mel, Magenta, The Alchemist, Tempus, Betty, and many more.

Enemies: Sylvie has a personal grudge against Minerva for hurting her family and wants the woman stopped. She has a personal vendetta against the Council for hunting her sister. She also doesn't trust Porfirio farther than she could throw his considerably tall body.

Beliefs/Religion: Sylvie was born and raised a Catholic. She considers herself to be an atheist now.

Career/Past Careers: Sylvie works as a waitress at Bob Evans.

Dreams/Life Goals: Sylvie wants to become the world's best potion-maker. Better than Magenta and maybe even the Alchemist. She'd love it if the Alchemist took her on as an apprentice.

Hobbies: Making potions, playing with chemistry and potions, Sylvie enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels as well as romance novels, and Sylvie enjoys gardening for potion ingredients.

Likes: The sounds of nature, playing with magic, hanging out at the Lilac Cafe and meeting new magical people, dirt under her fingernails, the sound of rain on leaves and hitting puddles.

Loves: Sylvie loves to garden and experiment with potions. Sylvie loves her siblings and her parents and everyone in her huge family.

Dislikes: Sylvie doesn't like chocolate or processed meat. She doesn't like the color orange or bright colors in general because they hurt her eyes. She doesn't like nosey people because they're annoying.

Loathes:  Sylvie hates people who are naturally gifted at magic, but don't appreciate it. She hates the Council for its seeming hate of magic. She hates lazy people because they suck in general.

Fears: Her sister, Ellie, will give up magic and find a way to go back to the way she was before her veil lifted when she developed magic powers. OR She's terrified something will happen to one of the people she loves and she'll lose them forever.

Strengths: Sylvie is a hard-working, talented individual who  isn't afraid to get her hands dirty to get what she wants. She knows she has to work for the things she wants and she's more than willing to work for them. She's smart enough to recognize when finesse is needed more than blunt force, but she's not afraid to use blunt force when necessary.

Weakness: When it comes to magic, Sylvie isn't very talented. She has to work hard to make every potion, every spell, every magical working work even half as good as it would normally work for anyone else. She is smart when it comes to foreign languages, math and science (potions come easier to her than most magic because they're magical chemistry), but beyond that she has to work very, very hard to understand the information she's receiving.

Good Qualities: Sylvie is a good person who desperately cares about her family who she would do anything for. She works hard because she wants to and she has to in order to achieve her ends.

Bad Habits: Sylvie likes to chew on things when she's nervous. Sometimes it's her own tongue, but usually she keeps gum or edible leaves on hand to chew on them.

Turn Ons: Sylvie likes tall, dark and handsome types. She goes for the totally depressed Byronic hero or the guy who's out for redemption however necessary.

Turn Offs: Sylvie cannot stand people who things come easy to. One sense that she's in the presence of a male who hasn't had to work for his accomplishments, and she's completely not attracted to them.

Normal Talents: Sylvie is smart, hard-working, and very good at math and science. She has an analytical mind she can use as an instrument for whatever purpose she sees fit.

Supernatural Powers & Abilities: By dint of much struggle and a lot of hard work, Sylvie is very good at making and concocting potions. She's got a natural talent for making up recipes and she works hard to make her recipes work. She's a research potioneer.

Temperament: Sylvie is a very kind, gentle and loving girl with a good sense of humor and understanding nature... Until you piss her off. Then she becomes a complete and utter bitch who would sooner spit on you than help you out of a tight spot and you'd better watch out. However, she only allows her bitch side to show when she's truly pissed off or someone fails to show appreciation for their natural talents.

Background: Sylvie was born the third child and youngest daughter of Elisabeth "Beth" and Frank Brown. She is the younger sister of Ellie and Tom Brown. Unlike Ellie, she was allowed to get away with a lot as a kid just because she was the youngest and her mother's little darling. Though, she didn't get away with as much as Ellie thought she did. Sylvie was pretty smart and she had to work really hard in the school subjects that didn't come easy to her like English and history. In addition to that, she learned how to speak Latin and make potions from her Grandma. Sylvie is nearly fluent in Latin though she mostly uses it for spells and potions.
Sylvie was three years old when Ellie stopped seeing magic and she never forgot the confusion she felt when her sister couldn't see or understand magic anymore, claiming she "grew up". She remembered the fight Ellie and their mom had had before Ellie forgot about magic and Sylvie knew it was to blame.

Sylvie was heavily affected by the loss of her grandma and Aunt Jo only a few years from each other. She doesn't want to lose another relative. She also knows that sometime during those difficult days, Porfirio did something to Tom for which she'll never forgive the purple bastard.
